We are looking for experienced childcare practitioners whom are are willing to work with our SEN childcare services with children ages 0-12years whom has special education needs.
-The SEND Childcare Assistant is work to support early years and childcare settings to provide high quality early education to children in their early years and school age with emerging or identified special educational needs and/or disabilities.
* To work with children in home based childcare settings with children with autistic, behaviour, ADHD, physical development and the speech and language .
* Responsible in assisting the children to wash and dress developing independence.
* Providing care to children such as changing babies nappies and clothes as necessary and makes up bottles for feeds;
* Responsible in planing educational activities to enhance development
* Responsible in preparing and serving children meals and supervises children during meals;
* Assisting the children in mends, washes and irons children’s clothes and tidies their rooms;
* provides, supervises and participates in children indoor and outdoor play activities to promote their development;
* takes children to participate in play groups or on appropriate outings;
* takes older children to and from school;
* maintains appropriate records of children’s development;
* complies with regulations set by OFSTED and their inspection requirements.
* Plan and deliver effective teaching and learning activities, taking responsibility for leading and managing play, care and learning for individual or small groups of children with SEND
* Contribute to multi agency team meetings providing feedback on progress and planning for future provision for children under our care
* Plan and evaluate learning activities for SEN children and identifying areas of improvement and new developments as necessary .
* Monitor, assess, report and maintain records of children and their performance following appropriate procedures including contributing to the writing and reviewing of SEN support plans with the childcare manager .
* Accompany other staff or lead small groups of children and take responsibility for children on visits, trips and out of school activities as required;
